Despite rain, good time had by all at White Sox game
Illinois Young Scholars were honored by the Chicago White Sox before a game at U.S. Cellular Field in 2011. We are happy to continue our partnership with them. It was a rainy August Saturday but we were lucky to still be allowed on the field for the Field Parade that Scholars took part in. Despite a delayed start and another rain delay, the game was completed too. We hope everyone had a great time on the field and enjoyed the game (if not the rain!) We'll have another event with the White Sox in 2012 and will post information to this website when plans are finalized. We'll also let the weatherman know too so he can plan a bit better!
